Failing sump pump due to storm

During a recent storm event in Manistee, SERVPRO of Manistee, Ludington and Cadillac was called to a flooded basement. The power had failed shutting down the sump pump, flooding the entire basement. SERVPRO of Manistee, Ludington, and Cadillac extracted the water off the floors, inventoried and dried affected contents, steam cleaned the floors, and applied any EPA registered anti-microbial to all affected surfaces. After setting drying equipment, the loss was monitored until dry and all drying records and detailed work invoice were sent to the insurance company for payment. Even though we were under a micro-event storm we were able to complete the job in the normal 3 days drying time. This allowed the homeowners to quickly regain full use of their basement.
