Warehouse Fire in Mason County
Smoke from the warehouse fire migrated to the sales floor and public area. First SERVPRO of Manistee, Ludington and Cadillac built a containment wall to separate the affected area from the sales area. This allowed us to blast the affected area with baking soda and glass beads without causing dust throughout the building. This wall allowed the store to remain open to keep cash coming in which is critical for small businesses. SERVPRO of Manistee, Ludington and Cadillac rebuilt the wall between the building and warehouse to maintain fire and building codes. After cleaning the affected contents, in the main showroom the store reopened for business two days later.
